Some positions, like the Germplasm Specialist, are potentially fully remote. Basic Function: Gleaning is harvesting leftover produce after the farmer has harvested his/her fields. The Northwest Indiana Area Gleaning Coordinator will coordinate gleanings in the Lake, Porter, La Porte, St. Joseph, Newton, Jasper, Pulaski, Fulton, Benton, White, Carrol, and Cass Counties for the Society of St. Andrew (SoSA). This would involve all groups gleaning in this area, along with all activities and events for the Society of St. Andrew. Part time Feb-Nov. Works with volunteers and community partners. Basic Function: Gleaning is harvesting leftover produce after the farmer has harvested his/her fields. The Northeast Indiana Area Gleaning Coordinator will coordinate gleanings in the Elkhart, LaGrange, Steuben, De Kalb, Noble, Kosciusko, Wabash, Whitley, Huntington, Wells, Miami, Allen and Adams Counties for the Society of St. Andrew (SoSA). This would involve all groups gleaning in this area, along with all activities and events for the Society of St. Andrew.
Part time Feb-Nov. Works with volunteers and community partners. We're hiring! We're an organic farm looking to hire a part-time individual to work in our wash/pack area 2-3 days per week (Tues & Wed) for 6-8 hours per day (9a start time). Candidate will be responsible for assisting with washing, packing, and placing labels on packaging for lettuce mixes, spinach, and other leafy vegetables.
