Since 2015, Mavourneen Farm has offered holistic landscaping services and certified organic plants & produce to the Bloomington community.  

Our landscape work is focused on creating high quality, unique, beautiful, and ecological garden spaces.  We build fences and raised beds, install stonewalls and walkways and also plant edible, useful species that provide food and beneficial habitat.  Our goal is to naturally transform landscapes into diverse and productive spaces that help build resiliency for home & business owners.

Christopher Farm, Internship 2023
Christopher Farm is a certified organic vegetable and flower farm located in East Central Indiana. We are committed to providing fresh healthy food and cutflowers for our local community and our region. We market through both farmers markets and CSA sales. This is our 26th year at this location. In the past two seasons we have pivoted to no-till practices in an effort to improve soil health, and to help to address climate change.

Internship Details:
Join us for a season of growing great food while living and learning on our organic no-till vegetable and flower farm. You will be immersed in the work and life of the farm, and can expect to gain experience in the following areas as they relate to a wide variety of crops:
