food system job - gleaning coordinator in Northwest Indiana

Society of St. Andrew is now hiring a part-time gleaning coordinator for Northwest Indiana. Last season was a tremendous success for Society of St. Andrew in the Northwest region. We meet many wonder people, volunteers, farmers, extension agents, food system advocates, pantry leaders, church groups and pastors who helped to make our first season a remarkable one. This year we are looking to hire a part-time coordinator in the region that will help to expand gleaning throughout Northwest Indiana and help us to get more fresh food onto the plates of those who need it.

The ideal candidate for this position will be an outgoing self-starter with strong communication and problem solving skills, and has experience or expressed interest in agriculture, food insecurity solutions and service to others.
