Indiana Farm Bureau, the state’s largest general agriculture organization, is looking for a self-motivated candidate with a passion for agriculture who can provide guidance, training and direction to our county Farm Bureaus and their volunteers and assist them in better serving our rural communities. The organization is seeking a regional manager to support northwest Indiana and one who will support southwest Indiana. The selected candidate would join a team of experienced regional managers who help cultivate relationships in their local communities and statewide with elected officials, farmers and ag industry partners and they help educate consumers about general agriculture practices. Duties would include organizing and attending agriculture-related events at the local and state levels, and travel to the Indiana Statehouse and to national agricultural activities to help our members share their stories and concerns with elected officials as they push for legislation that supports and protects agriculture and rural communities in Indiana. The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (Ag-specific degree preferred but not required), a minimum of three years of work experience, strong communication and organizational skills and be a self-starter. In return, Indiana Farm Bureau offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home, excellent medical benefits, tuition reimbursement and a generous paid vacation/sick time package. Here are the highlights of the position (full details and how to apply are here):
Two pieces of equipment available for sale - either as a package or separately:
2015 Aeromaster PT-120 Compost Windrow Turner & Aeromaster WT-1775 Water Tank Trailer. I have a full-blooded Belted Galloway bull for sale (DOB: 3/26/2021). He is a super gentle bull that would be perfect for a small herd. He is a super easy keeper. He is ready for his own herd now and will be a great asset to a herd. He had a great low birth weight. The Belted Galloway breed is a heritage breed that is well known for its maternal instincts and longevity. He is able to be registered if that is desired (will be $200 extra to cover all the costs with that). I'd like to sell him for $1,500 but would consider less if the buyer would be a good fit. (The photo is a little dated but if you are interested I can send newer pictures)

They are hiring a line cook (no experience needed) and a pastry chef. More below. first, a note from the Chef, Max Joyner:
I think it may say that the position is based in Columbus but both could be in either location. It doesn’t mention it in the description but I do think that one of the big things that sets these jobs apart from comparable industry ones besides the local food focus is the quality of life, work/life balance. Our schedule is set by the business, so it mainly follows an 8-4 Monday-Friday schedule. Paid holidays, paid vacation time, sick pay and one week Christmas shut down paid. As a part of Cummins, we also uphold a strong corporate ethics code. Every service we do is prescheduled, so we know all the dinners that we do have several weeks in advance. We don’t have a set menu – and work with a network of farmers and cook with what is in season. There is lots of room for experimentation and creativity. There is no need for any formal training or past experience for the prep cook role. For more info, contact Max Joyner: maxwell.joyner@cummins.com.
