Indiana Farm Bureau, the state’s largest general agriculture organization, is looking for a self-motivated candidate with a passion for agriculture who can provide guidance, training and direction to our county Farm Bureaus and their volunteers and assist them in better serving our rural communities. The organization is seeking a regional manager to support northwest Indiana and one who will support southwest Indiana. The selected candidate would join a team of experienced regional managers who help cultivate relationships in their local communities and statewide with elected officials, farmers and ag industry partners and they help educate consumers about general agriculture practices. Duties would include organizing and attending agriculture-related events at the local and state levels, and travel to the Indiana Statehouse and to national agricultural activities to help our members share their stories and concerns with elected officials as they push for legislation that supports and protects agriculture and rural communities in Indiana. The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (Ag-specific degree preferred but not required), a minimum of three years of work experience, strong communication and organizational skills and be a self-starter. In return, Indiana Farm Bureau offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home, excellent medical benefits, tuition reimbursement and a generous paid vacation/sick time package.
