Aberdeen, Central Indiana's first Agri-Hood is searching for a Farm Manager. Aberdeen Farms is a for-profit entity whose primary goal is to provide the residents of the Aberdeen neighborhood both fresh/local food options and immersive farm experiences. Responsibilities include successfully growing and maintaining small-scale row crops, garden/specialty crops, and fruit trees. Additionally, the farm manager will help start and run a CSA program, stock a farm store, and manage volunteers. The Farm Manager will have a work schedule that expands in growing/harvest season and that tapers back during the offseason. He/she should thrive being outside most of the time, working in a labor intensive position, but also be able to plan out the season, manage farm assets, and engage community members & volunteers with a warm demeanor. For more details, visit AberdeenLiving.com or email [email protected]
