Do you love being out in the field, rescuing healthy produce from going to waste, and working with great people?
Society of St Andrew is a national non-profit gleaning organization working to rescue healthy food that might otherwise be wasted and provide it to those in need. The primary way we do that is to work with local farmers and arrange for volunteers to go into fields that have already been harvested to collect what is left. We then deliver the produce to local food pantries. Our regional office in Indiana is based in Indianapolis, but we glean across the whole state. We are hiring two positions, a full-time one-year Gleaning Coordinator VISTA based in Indianapolis and a part-time Area Gleaning Coordinator based in Southwest Indiana. Details about the jobs and information on how apply can be found on our website at https://endhunger.org/indiana/. Questions? Contact Laura Tagliani at [email protected]. Comments are closed.
