We're moving out of town and leaving behind our farm's camper trailer and wanted to offer it up to people in this group. It's a 24' 1997 Coachmen Catalina Lite pull-behind trailer in which we replaced/repainted almost everything inside to make it a comfortable tiny home for ourselves. It's in great shape with working AC, plumbing, electricity, no leaks, etc... a bedroom and kitchen sink, a surprisingly big mini fridge... a lot to love about it. That said... we lived in it all the way into January last year and we were very cold, and felt a little silly afterward, so we don't recommend that -- it's insulated like a lightweight camper not like a proper house, and it's a struggle in december even with a couple space heaters. But with the big windows into the woods and our little porch, it was a dream in the warmer months - we expect it'd be comfortable from about March/April to October.
Other things -- we pulled out the toilet to get a proper sized bedroom (and because we thought it was gross to sleep 2 feet from a toilet), so it needs to be used near an outhouse or other building. It's currently got an 150' electrical cord extension, and a big fresh water tank you can either fill with a hose or connect permanently to a pressurized spigot. We're hoping to get something like $4500 for it, but open to offers too. Happy to answer any questions about it (email Kay at [email protected]). Comments are closed.
