We are a grassroots and member-driven organization focused on local, state, and national food and farm issues, right here in Indiana. This year, thanks to grant support, joining HYFC is free!

To become a member, simply sign up for our e-newsletter and you're in. And you'll receive  timely updates on upcoming events and related workshops, conferences, job and volunteer opportunities, and funding call-outs, and have the opportunity to post your own updates.

Wondering who can join HYFC? Everyone! We want young farmers (that's anyone in their first 10 years farming), folks who've been farming for years, farmer allies, food lovers, and everyone in between to join HYFC

Lobby on behalf of small-scale sustainable farmers.

Writing a letter, making a phone call, or just starting a conversation with a neighbor or friend can make a big difference.

Our events are open to the public, typically accompanied by farm-fresh and local refreshments, and are a foot-stompin’ good time.

Become an official supporting member of NYFC

The National Young Farmers Coalition lobbies for young farmers, pushing for student debt forgiveness, healthcare, land access, and other priorities.

​When you join, be sure to select your local chapter (that's us, the Hoosier Young Farmers Coalition) from the drop down menu. You'll bolster the young farmer movement, and get rad perks at a variety of farm and garden retailers like Johnny's (seeds!), Premier1 (livestock fences!), Redback (boots!), and beyond.
