The Market Manager position requires passion and dedication, and work almost every Saturday morning from April-October. In many ways, this is a community service position.
The Market Manager will be rewarded with a modest stipend and the knowledge that you are helping the Madison market thrive.
The person we hire will work closely with the Market Advisory Committee (a volunteer group of vendors that's working to build the market). The Market Manager will report to the Committee on a regular basis and be in weekly conversation with our vendor community. The Committee will provide support and assistance to the Market Manager as we work together to grow this market. The City of Madison will also help support the Market Manager (with resources, enforcement of the handbook, connections in the community, etc.).
We will hold interviews on Wednesday, Feb 13. Please keep this evening available for an interview if you are selected as a candidate.
